Ingram Creek

Ingram Creek is easily one of the most high quality steep creeks in the state of Alaska. There are countless challenging rapids, with everything from 30 ft. waterfalls to powerful steep slides. This creek definitely has some places you don't want to be, but for the most part the drops are all fun and they will keep you on your edge. The creek is currently divided into 2 different sections, Upper Ingram & Lower Ingram, with Launch Pad/Cabin Drop rapid being the put-in for the Lower section & Grandma Falls being the put-in for the Upper section. The creek is definitely a solid class IV+/V run with well over 13 solid drops throughout it's course through the dense forested valley. Look for Six Mile Creek have at least 10.1 ft. of water on the gauge to get a decent run on Ingram. I highly recommend combining the Upper & Lower section of Ingram for an action-packed full day of boating. Located in Turnagain Pass on the Seward Highway.
